Billing and Cancellation
Quick summary. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the in-app billing portal. After cancellation, paid features stay active until the end of the current period and then your account drops to Free.
Plans
Sigma Terminal offers Free, Pro, Elite, trial, promotional, or grandfathered plans. The features, limits, and pricing shown at checkout govern your active plan. Plan information visible in the in-app billing section reflects your current subscription state.
Recurring Billing Authorization
By starting a paid subscription, you authorize Nguyen Ngoc Minh Quan (d/b/a Sigma Terminal) and our payment processor to charge your payment method, on the cadence shown at checkout, the listed subscription fee plus any applicable taxes, until you cancel. Each renewal continues for the same term and at the same price unless we give advance notice of a change.
Renewal Reminders (California, NY, Florida, Vermont and similar laws)
For annual or other multi-month subscriptions, we will email a renewal reminder to your account address at least 3 days and no more than 21 days before the renewal date. The reminder identifies the subscription, renewal date, amount that will be charged, and a direct link to cancel. For monthly subscriptions, your invoice and Stripe receipt serve as the renewal record.
Payment Processor
Payments are handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not store full payment card numbers; we receive limited billing metadata needed to manage your plan (customer ID, subscription ID, last 4 card digits, invoice IDs, status, period dates).
Plan Changes
Upgrades typically take effect immediately and may be prorated. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period unless we say otherwise at checkout. We may change features, limits, or pricing of plans; for material changes to your active plan we will give reasonable advance notice and an option to cancel before the change takes effect.
How to Cancel (Easy Cancel Mechanism)
You can cancel a paid subscription in any of the following ways — you do not have to call, write a letter, or speak to a representative:
- In the app: Plan & Billing → Manage subscription → Cancel.
- Stripe billing portal: the same Manage subscription link opens the Stripe Customer Portal where you can cancel immediately.
- Email: send a cancellation request from your account email to terminalsigmasupport@gmail.com. We will cancel within one business day.
You will receive an email confirmation when cancellation is processed.
After Cancellation
Cancellation stops future renewals. Paid features stay active until the end of the period you already paid for, then your account drops to the Free plan. Your data (watchlists, portfolio, predictions, alerts, analysis history, saved keys) is preserved on the Free tier subject to the limits described in our Privacy Policy.
Failed Payments
If a charge fails, our processor will retry it. We may also email you, ask you to update payment information, temporarily suspend paid features, downgrade your account to Free, or cancel the subscription if the payment cannot be collected.
Taxes
Prices shown may or may not include applicable taxes depending on your jurisdiction. Where required, taxes are added at checkout or remitted by our processor on our behalf.
Singapore Goods and Services Tax (GST)
If you are a customer in Singapore, your subscription may be subject to Singapore Goods and Services Tax at the prevailing rate (currently 9%). Where applicable, GST is either added at checkout (B2C consumer purchases under Singapore's Overseas Vendor Registration regime) or charged by Stripe on our behalf. If you are a GST-registered business customer in Singapore and want to claim input tax, contact terminalsigmasupport@gmail.com with your GST registration number to receive an appropriately formatted invoice.
Singapore Consumer Protection (CPFTA)
Nothing in this Billing Policy limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003 (Singapore) or other mandatory Singapore consumer-protection laws. Where Singapore law requires a different result, Singapore law controls for Singapore consumers.
Disputes and Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve it. Repeatedly filing chargebacks for valid recurring charges may result in account suspension.
