Refund Policy

Last updated: May 28, 2026

General Rule

Unless required by law or stated otherwise at checkout, subscription fees are non-refundable once charged. This includes partial months, unused analysis limits, unused API access, and periods where you did not use the Service.

Cancellation Is Not a Refund

Canceling a subscription stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund charges already paid. See the Billing and Cancellation Policy for cancellation steps.

EU, UK, and Swiss Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital-service contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason. To withdraw, email terminalsigmasupport@gmail.com from your account email within the 14-day period and we will refund the full amount paid for that subscription period.

Express waiver to access the Service immediately. At checkout, EU/UK/Swiss consumers may be asked to confirm: "I want immediate access to Sigma Terminal and I acknowledge that I will lose my right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed." If you check that box, you waive the 14-day right once you begin using the Service (for example, by running an AI analysis or hitting the API), as permitted by Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive (EU) 2011/83/EU and equivalent UK/Swiss rules. If you have not begun using paid features, your 14-day right still applies.

Case-by-Case Review (Outside EU/UK/Swiss)

We may review refund requests case by case for duplicate charges, billing mistakes, accidental renewals, account access problems, prolonged Service outages, or other exceptional circumstances. Granting one refund as a courtesy does not waive this general policy.

State-Specific Rights (United States)

Some U.S. states give consumers additional cancellation or refund rights for subscription contracts. Where state law gives you a broader right than this policy, that state law controls.

Singapore (CPFTA)

If you are a consumer in Singapore, you may have additional rights under the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act 2003 (Singapore) — including the right to seek a remedy where the Service does not conform to an express representation we made. Where Singapore law gives you a broader right than this policy, Singapore law controls for Singapore consumers. Contact terminalsigmasupport@gmail.com to discuss a Singapore-specific refund or remedy.

How to Request a Refund

Email terminalsigmasupport@gmail.com with your account email, charge date, amount, and reason for the request. We may ask for more information before making a decision.

Processor Timing

If approved, refunds are returned through the original payment method when possible. Banks and payment processors control the time it takes for funds to appear, typically 5–10 business days.

Abuse

We may deny refunds, suspend accounts, or block future purchases for abuse, chargeback misuse, repeated refund requests after substantial use, fraud, or violation of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
