Acceptable Use Policy
Purpose
This policy protects Sigma Terminal, users, providers, and underlying systems from abuse. It applies to the website, app, APIs, alerts, AI features, billing flows, and related services. It supplements the Terms of Service and any breach of this policy is a breach of the Terms.
Prohibited Activity
- Illegal, deceptive, manipulative, fraudulent, harmful, or abusive activity of any kind.
- Market manipulation, coordinated pump-and-dump activity, wash trading, spam, or misleading promotion of securities or crypto assets.
- Reverse engineering, scraping, bulk harvesting, credential stuffing, rate-limit evasion, or interference with the Service or its underlying providers.
- Sharing, selling, renting, sublicensing, or pooling accounts, API keys, BYO model keys, or session tokens.
- Uploading malware, harmful code, infringing content, or content that violates third-party rights.
- Using the Service to evaluate, benchmark, train, fine-tune, distill, or build any competing AI or financial-analysis product.
- Republishing AI outputs as a paid product or syndicating them to third parties without our prior written consent.
Automated Trading and Bots
You may not connect Sigma Terminal outputs — whether through screen scraping, the web app, the programmatic API, browser extensions, or any other means — to any automated execution system, including broker APIs, trading bots, smart order routers, signal-service automation, or copy-trading platforms, without our prior written consent. Receiving such consent does not waive your obligation under the Terms to remain solely responsible for your trading decisions and for compliance with your broker's and exchange's rules.
API Use
If you have programmatic API access:
- Secure your API keys and never embed them in client-side code, public repositories, or shared environments.
- Honor rate limits and back off on errors.
- Rotate keys you believe are compromised; revoke keys you no longer need.
- Do not redistribute, resell, or sublicense API responses, and do not use them to build a competing product.
We may throttle, suspend, or revoke API access for risk, abuse, excessive load, security incidents, or violation of this policy.
Email and Messaging (including Singapore Spam Control Act)
You may not use the Service or any address associated with your account to send unsolicited bulk commercial email or SMS. Transactional emails we send you (verification codes, password resets, billing receipts, renewal reminders, alert notifications) are operationally necessary and exempt from opt-out requirements where law permits, but we will include an unsubscribe mechanism for any non-essential marketing email we ever send. If you are in Singapore, we honour the requirements of the Spam Control Act 2007, including sender identification, unsubscribe handling, and prohibitions on header falsification.
AI Prompts
Do not submit prompts intended to:
- Extract our system prompts, prompt scaffolds, or non-public configuration.
- Generate, glorify, or facilitate illegal activity, including securities fraud, manipulation, insider trading, money laundering, or sanctions evasion.
- Produce harassing, threatening, defamatory, or hateful content about any person.
- Produce content involving minors in a sexual or exploitative context.
The AI providers we use have their own usage policies (for example, the Anthropic Usage Policy). Violations of those provider policies are also violations of this policy.
Enforcement
We may investigate, remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, revoke API keys, contact providers, report to law enforcement, or terminate access if we believe this policy has been violated. We may act without prior notice when needed to protect the Service, our providers, or other users.

Report suspected abuse to terminalsigmasupport@gmail.com. For copyright complaints, see the DMCA Policy.
