Market data shown in Sigma Terminal is sourced from third-party providers and may be delayed, incomplete, or different from official records. Verify with your broker or primary sources before acting.
Third-Party Data
Sigma Terminal uses third-party market data, fundamentals, news, sentiment, earnings, company profiles, insider transactions, brokerage aggregation, and other financial data from providers that are independent from Sigma Terminal. Providers may include Finnhub, Alpaca, Twelve Data, Yahoo Finance, SnapTrade, connected brokers, AI providers, and other vendors. Each provider operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy.
Delays and Errors
Data may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, corrected after publication, unavailable, rate-limited, or different from broker, exchange, or official issuer records. Quotes shown are not necessarily real-time and should not be relied on for trade execution.
Coverage Limits
We may not support every market, ticker, exchange, ETF, security type, corporate action, currency, or historical period. Some endpoints may fail even when a ticker is valid. Coverage and providers may change over time.
A missing provider result, missing earnings date, unavailable quote, empty field, or stale cache does not mean the underlying event, filing, report, security, or market condition does not exist. Treat gaps as unknowns and verify with primary sources.
Provider Outages
Third-party outages, quota limits, API errors, authentication problems, provider policy changes, or network issues may reduce or block features. We will try to surface clear error states but cannot guarantee uptime of upstream providers.
Brokerage Data
Brokerage positions synced through SnapTrade or imported from screenshots may differ from your broker's live account due to sync delays, unsupported asset types, corporate actions, fractional shares, currency conversion, average-cost conventions, closed positions, options/futures/crypto exclusions, or parsing errors. Sigma Terminal is not a broker statement and should not be used for tax reporting or order execution.
Alerts and Notifications
Alerts depend on provider data, server jobs, email providers, push providers, device settings, and network availability. Alerts may be delayed, missed, duplicated, or triggered from stale data. Alerts do not place orders and do not guarantee execution.
No Redistribution or Resale
Unless we expressly permit it in writing, you may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, scrape, bulk export, cache outside the Service, or use market data outside Sigma Terminal in violation of provider terms or applicable law. Programmatic API access does not grant redistribution rights.
Attribution
Where a data provider requires visible attribution under its terms of service, we will display the attribution in the Service or in the relevant feature’s view. The absence of attribution in any specific view does not waive provider terms.
Verification
